Former CPI MLA Gummadi Narsaiah, who won the Yellendu assembly constituency five terms in the past, faced an adverse and humiliating situation at the residence of chief minister Revanth Reddy on Thursday.
The former MLA reportedly wanted to meet the chief minister to convey the problems faced by the people in his constituency and sought appointment for the same. However, the chief minister was inaccessible for him, so he approached the leaders who share a good rapport with the CM.
But despite the assurance of leaders who are near to Revanth Reddy, for some odd reason, Narsaiah is unable to meet the chief minister despite four such attempts in the recent past with the most recent one being on Thursday.
Narsaiah revealed that he went to the secretariat on Wednesday, but was not permitted to meet the chief minister as he was reportedly in a meeting with ministers. Then on Thursday, he arrived at the residence of Revanth Reddy and waited four hours, but was still not allowed to meet the chief minister.
The visuals of Narsaiah waiting outside the residence of chief minister surfaced on social media, and they have now led to a new political discourse in Telangana. A people’s leader like Gummadi Narsaiah, waiting outside the chief minister residence without appointment does not paint a good picture. It has to be seen how Revanth will deal with the situation now.
