Big Applause for Pawan’s Personal Secretary, Krishna Teja!

The mindset of Jana Sena leader and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan is well known. When he learns of people in distress, he doesn’t wait for the government to intervene; instead, he offers immediate help as much as he can, ensuring they have both financial support and emotional confidence to rebuild their lives. In a similar vein, Krishna Teja, who is currently serving as Pawan’s personal secretary in the Deputy CM’s office, has also proven to have a compassionate and service-oriented nature.

Krishna Teja, an IAS officer from the Kerala cadre, was brought to Andhra Pradesh on deputation by Pawan Kalyan, recognizing his strong administrative skills. Apart from his excellent governance skills, Krishna Teja has demonstrated remarkable qualities of service, which has recently been highlighted by an event that came to light.

In 2022, Krishna Teja served as the District Collector of Alappuzha in Kerala during the devastating COVID-19 crisis. The pandemic wreaked havoc worldwide, causing numerous fatalities and immense economic loss. Many families, especially those already struggling with poverty, felt hopeless and believed they would never recover. During this crisis, 292 children in Alappuzha were orphaned after losing their parents to COVID-19. Seeing their suffering firsthand, Krishna Teja made it his mission to provide these children not only education but also homes, regardless of his position as a district collector or just as an ordinary citizen.

Krishna Teja took swift action to support these children. He first launched an initiative to provide them with education by coordinating with schools and voluntary organizations. Once their education was ensured, the next step was to provide them with homes. Krishna Teja, having already made significant contributions through government resources, took it upon himself to raise the remaining funds needed for constructing homes. He reached out to friends, colleagues, and acquaintances, utilizing every possible avenue to gather donations. As a result, he successfully collected the funds required for the construction of 292 homes for these orphaned children.

Over time, he managed to hand over 286 homes, and the remaining six were completed and handed over on Saturday. Even though Krishna Teja moved to Andhra Pradesh, he did not forget his mission and ensured that he completed the work he had started. He expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported him in providing both education and homes for the 292 children.
