Posani Arrested: Will Jagan Step Out Again?

Senior actor and former politician, Posani Krishna Murali is paying the price for his earlier misdeeds where he abused Chandra Babu and Pawan Kalyan just to please YS Jagan. In view of all the cases that were filed against him in Andhra Pradesh, he was arrested by Rayachoti Police last night and is currently awaiting legal recourse.

Despite the fact that Posani had retired from politics, recently, it must be noted that he was a trusted mouthpiece of Jagan back when he was the chief minister. Also, he had been with YSR Congress for a long time and abused Telugu Desam and Chandrababu using even casteist slurs every now and again.

Now that Posani has been locked up for crossing the line for abusing Chandrababu and Kalyan, it has to be seen if Jagan Mohan Reddy would come out for this actor-politician now.

Jagan had to go to jail last week to meet Vallabhaneni Vamsi, who was locked up in a kidnap case. Now he has another task at hand, as Posani was also arrested last night, and he might have to face judicial remand soon.

This brings us to the question – will Jagan take the occasion to visit whichever jail Posani is sentenced to and show solidarity? It so, then wouldn’t these repeated jail visits affect Jagan’s image further as it would send the implication that he harboured repeat offenders in YCP and is still backing their antisocial tendencies?
