Controversy On Dining Plates: Mandakrishna Clarifies

Few days ago, the grand wedding ceremony of former Vice president Venkaiah Naidu’s grandson happened in Nellore. As expected, this ceremony was grace by several political stalwarts, including Nara Lokesh and several others.

While this event was largely celebratory event around the auspicious theme of marriage, there was this one vehement hate campaign that was spread around the same. This was largely carried by YSR Congress, social media groups on Twitter for the last one week or so.

The narrative is that the VIPs were given top priority and separate seating arrangements at dining, while SC community leader Mandakrishna Madiga was made to dine separately.

This agenda was carried in such a way that carefully doctored and fabricated pictures and videos of Lokesh and others dining in seemingly costly plates amidst VIPs, while Mandakrishna was dining in normal plates with common folk was shared. It was projected in such a way that the SC leader mistreated and disrespected at the event.

Whether the SC community leader has reacted on this heat campaign and he clarified on the matter.

“The truth is that I came to the event along with 150 of my group members. When I reached there, I could not see any VIPs or important personalities. So I immediately met Venkaiah Naidu Garu, and he took me on stage and introduced me to his family. After that, I had a normal dining with all 150 of my group members. Neither Nara Lokesh nor any other VIP was at the dining while I was there. I don’t understand how the news about my segregation came out. I happily dined with my group and we had a hearty meal.” He said.

This generic revelation from the man himself, clarify that there was no sort of discrimination or disrespect towards the SC community leader. In the end, this turned out to be a fabricated agenda carried by certain social media groups to bring out communal clashes. It is the responsibility of the cyber crime department to take adequate action against such blatant communal riot propagandists.
