‘Pawan Corporater Ki Ekkuva, MLA Ki Thakkuva: Jagan

Former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy held on another one of his conventional media meetings today, where he spoke at length about the current political scenario and Andhra Pradesh. Interestingly, enough, he had a sarcastic and offensive remark on the Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.

The media asked Jagan to react on the deputy CM’s statement that the people didn’t want to give Jagan the opposition status and it isn’t within the jurisdiction of the government to accord the same now, and here’s what he said.

“Aa manishi corporator ki ekkuva… MLA ki thakkuva… Jeevitham lo first time MLA ainadu ippudu” Jagan said. The translation of this is that Jagan said Pawan Kalyan hardly has the stature of being an MLA and this is all very new for him. It is of the implication that Pawan isn’t even qualified to speak about Jagan.

The former CM was completely dismissive and provocative when asked to react on Kalyan. And again, he didn’t show any interest in bringing up Pawan’s name either.
