After Twists & Turns: Nagababu Confirmed MLC Post

Earlier, the NDA government had officially confirmed that NagaBabu will be given a place in the Andhra Pradesh cabinet ranks. It was then conceived that Nagababu would be made MLC first in the MLA quota which would then validate the status of the cabinet minister rank that would be accorded to him later.

However, in the recent past, things have been taking interesting twists and turns. At one point, it was reported that the mega brother wouldn’t be included in the cabinet and would instead be given Rajya Sabha MP post, given that AP BJP wing is eyeing the cabinet position.

Another theory claimed that Nagababu might even be given a leading corporation chairman position at state level if the RS MP plan doesn’t work out either. This was, of course, again if BJP sets sight on gaining the MP position to improve their position in the upper house.

However, in what could be the final twist in the tale, it has been officially confirmed that Nagababu would indeed be made an MLC in the MLA quota nominations. Janasena president and deputy CM Pawan Kalyan reportedly communicated to the party ranks to prepare the documentation to include Nagababu in the MLC election.

Now that Kalyan has decided to have his brother as an MLC in the upcoming elections, it is nearly confirmed that the route is clear for him to be subsequently incorporated into the AP cabinet ranks. He could be given a notable cabinet portfolio as well.

Well, finally, the cabinet dream of Nagababu and the aspirations of Janasena cadres are going to be answered with this latest development.
