Chandrababu Naidu in Delhi grabbed all the headlines. As a seasoned politician, Naidu was the cynosure of national media.
As Hindi imposition in the South is a burning topic, National media tried to trouble Naidu by seeking his response on the issue and what is AP’s stand on Hindi imposition. Chandrababu gave the best reply by defending to promote national language alongside the regional languages and international language English. Chandrababu said multi-language promotion is the best approach. Naidu reiterated that language is a mode of communication.
“Knowledge is different, language is different. “All of you are aware that Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and other languages are shining globally. I’m going to promote 10 languages, including international languages, in every university. Students can study, go and work there. Not only three languages, I will promote multi-languages. We had to promote Telugu. We should also promote English as it is an international language for livelihood. It is better to learn Hindi, so that we can mingle with people easily,” said Chandrababu at the press conference.
Chandrababu’s reply got the claps and cheers. Naidu’s byte is being widely share on social media. Despite being a CM of southern state, Chandrababu gave a clear picture on language row and stressed the importance of learning multiple languages and how they are useful at work and career progress. Once again, Naidu showed his political diplomacy as well as seasonal politics. Not just the people, even the leaders of NDA are hailing Chandrababu’s views on the 3 language row. That’s CBN!
