KCR Rebuilding, But Jagan Still in Hibernation?

After reaching a truce while in power, both KCR and Jagan Mohan Reddy found themselves in tough positions after the 2023 and 2024 elections, respectively. While KCR suffered a tough loss at the hands of Revanth Reddy, Jagan was absolutely annihilated by Chandrababu.

When it comes to the rebuilding process after the elections, it could be argued that both KCR and Jagan have been lethargic in their approach. While KCR confined himself to his farmhouse mostly, Jagan shifted base to his lavish Yelahanka Palace in Bengaluru.

However, based on the latest developments, it can be established that KCR is slowly but surely getting back on track. He has been holding multiple party-level meetings with his cadre and local leadership. Even yesterday, he held a party-level meeting where he took critical feedback from his party leadership and hardworking cadres.

On the other hand, we have Jagan, who hasn’t met his cadres even once in the last nine months since the election. The only meetings he has been holding are with his top leadership.

Even in these meetings, Jagan has been delivering monotonous speeches. He has mostly been addressing his leadership for 30 minutes to 1-hour sessions and then leaving. There hasn’t been any instance of the cadre or local leadership getting to interact with Jagan and convey their thoughts to him. Jagan hasn’t taken any feedback from his support system, and it has only been a one-way traffic where he delivers speeches to his leaders and leaves without engaging in any dialogue.

On top of that, Jagan, who had earlier announced that he would go on a statewide tour after Sankranthi, where he would meet his cadres, hasn’t paid any attention to this plan. After a vague statement initially, he is now completely ignoring it.

In comparison, KCR is paying more attention to his local leadership and gathering their feedback, while Jagan remains completely ignorant of this. The YCP boss still appears to be in hibernation mode while continuing to threaten NDA leaders with severe consequences once Jagan starts his 2.0 rule after becoming CM again.
