For really really long time now, Vijay Sai Reddy has been one of the most trusted associates of YS Jagan. However, despite all the rapport that he shares with Jagan and the hardships that he went through for the YCP boss, Sai Reddy has now quit YSR Congress, and retired from politics.
Weeks after quitting the party and leaving Jagan Sai Reddy, finally addressed the series of events that resulted to his departure from the party and here is what he said.
“The coterie around Jagan Mohan Reddy is not a compatible one. The second grade leaders around Jagan broke my heart and ruined my position in the party. It is with a broken heart that I had to leave Jagan which is a result of the men beside him. They brought me down so that they can climb up. Jagan said I’ve bowed down to political pressures. But in reality, I stepped out of YCP due to the people around him.” Sai Reddy stated.
Sai Reddy then made a serious comment as he said Jagan will prosper again in politics only after he moves away from the current coterie surrounding him. “Jagan’s future is going to be very tough and hard if he continues with these men around him.”
The fact that Sai Reddy who was widely believed to be the number 2 in YCP and the most trusted man for Jagan said he had to leave the party because of second grade leaders around Jagan is a shocking point to note. If Sai Reddy himself was made to quit the party due to this said coterie, then what is the situation of the rest of the folk?
Though Sai Reddy didn’t name anyone in this so called coterie, social media users are debating and discussing if it’s Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Peddireddy, and any other leaders who are behind this detrimental act.
