BRS MLA and former state minister Malla Reddy, known for his candid remarks, stirred up a debate with his latest comments on Telugu cinema’s biggest stars, Chiranjeevi and Allu Arjun. Speaking to the media today, Reddy made a bold claim that Allu Arjun has surpassed Chiranjeevi as the top star in the film industry after the monumental success of Pushpa 2.
Reddy acknowledged Chiranjeevi’s dominance in the past, saying, “Chiranjeevi was once the number one star in the industry, but Allu Arjun surpassed him after the sensational success of Pushpa 2. The film earned Rs 1,800 crores, and Allu Arjun became an international star. That’s why everyone must update themselves.” His statement has sparked a conversation about the changing dynamics in the Telugu film industry.
In addition to his thoughts on cinema, Reddy also shared insights about his focus on education and technology. He mentioned that he has distanced himself from “useless politics” and is now concentrating on his educational institutions. “I have set up three universities, and like Lalitha Jewellers proprietor, I too will take AI help to promote my institutions,” he revealed.
Reddy further elaborated on his use of AI in education, saying, “For the first time in the country, I am training students with the help of AI. I have strictly asked my students not to come to the college without a laptop. Only those who possess skills and master technology must be given jobs. I am running my university using Chinese technology.”
His statements on both cinema and education have caught significant attention, with discussions likely to continue in the coming days.
