The Andhra Pradesh government has embarked on another major project, as part of its vision to transform Amaravati into a world-class capital. CM Chandrababu Naidu’s plan aligns with the construction of a massive Outer Ring Road (ORR) around Amaravati. This ORR will stretch a total of 189.9 kilometers, which is even longer than the ORR in Hyderabad.
Officials have been appointed for land acquisition for the Amaravati ORR, while the Andhra Pradesh government is expected to approve proposed changes to the alignment by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). Special officers, known as JCs, have been assigned to handle the land acquisition in various districts, including Palnadu, Guntur, Eluru, Krishna, and NTR districts.
The Amaravati ORR will pass through 121 villages in 23 mandals across five districts. Local residents are eager to know which villages the ORR will pass through. Below is a detailed list of the districts, mandals, and villages through which the Amaravati ORR will travel:
Guntur District:
Palnadu District:
NTR District:
Krishna District:
Eluru District:
The Amaravati Outer Ring Road will significantly enhance connectivity across these regions, providing easier access to the world-class capital city.
