US Director of National Intelligence Tulasi Gabbard yet again iterated her deep connection with Bhagawad Gita. She said that Gita has immense influence on her life. Gabbard, who is on a 3-day visit to India, discussed terrorism and cyber security with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On the occasion, Modi gifted a Vessel of Ganga jal collected from Triveni Sangam at Prayagraj where Maha Kumbh Mela was held recently. Gabbard gifted a sacred Rudraksha mala to Modi in return. This is the second time Gabbard met with Modi in the last two months.
Earlier, Modi met Gabbard in the US. Before that, Union Defence minister Rajnath Singh also met her and urged her to check the activities of anti-Indian Khalistani organisation Sikh for Justice. Singh and the US Intel chief discussed defence and surveillance information data.
Speaking to am English news channel, Gabbard expressed concern over increasing atrocities against the minority Hindu community in Bangladesh.
Gabbard, a practising Vaishnava Hindu, explained how Lord Krishna’s teachings to Arjuna influenced her best and worst times.
This revelation underscores the significance of Hindu religious and mythological principles in the most powerful people’s lives.
