Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams has safely returned to Earth, sparking joy among people worldwide. From common citizens to celebrities, social media has been flooded with messages celebrating her safe return. However, before she embarks on any travel plans, Sunita will remain under the supervision of NASA doctors for recovery.
According to her relative Falguni Pandya, Sunita will visit India after her full recovery. Expressing happiness over her return, Pandya described Sunita as a naturally talented and inspiring individual who excels in every situation.
Meanwhile, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier extended a formal invitation for Sunita to visit India during his trip to the US. Sunita responded positively, expressing her excitement about the visit. PM Modi even inquired about her health during a meeting with Donald Trump, showing India’s keen interest in her well-being.
Born and raised in Ohio, USA, Sunita Williams has deep Indian roots. Her father, Deepak Pandya, hails from Mehsana district in Gujarat, further strengthening her bond with India.
As the world celebrates her safe return, all eyes are now on her much-awaited India visit, which will surely be a moment of pride and inspiration for many.
