Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu had already communicated that the authorities will be extensively using drones for medical assistance, disaster response, and social policing activities. The same can be understood if we look at the latest activity done by Andhra Pradesh Police using drones.

Here is a viral video of Andhra Pradesh police cleverly using drone to track and identify illegal gambling activities and also trace down the culprits associated with the same.

In this viral video from Vizianagaram, we see a team of police officers flying a drone atop of an illegal gambling(presumably rummy) activity happening on the top of a lorry. They used the drone footage to track down the culprits and nab them effectively.

What could have otherwise been a strenuous exercise of physically tracking down the gamblers, was largely simplified using drone technology. The police could affirmatively and effortlessly track the activity that was happening on the top of an otherwise unsuspicious lorry.

Home Minister, Anita had also reacted to the video and she raised the local police for their effective and thoughtful policing measures. This rate, it should not be long before all of Andhra Pradesh Police utilize this technology extensively to cut down on such antisocial activities.
