Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu has made it very clear that he is committed to completing the long delayed Polavaram Project by the end of this tenure. In tune with this, he is on the ground, overseeing the construction activities and keeping things moving along.
Incidentally, Chandrababu visited the Polavaram Project today and inspected the construction activities there.
“It is our responsibility to support the displaced people of Polavaram. The previous government did not give a single paisa to the displaced people. In the 9 months that followed, our coalition government has the credit of directly transferring Rs 829 crore into the accounts of the displaced people without any corruption anywhere.” Babu stated.
This was when Chandrababu made the big statement that his government would be completing the Polavaram project by the end of 2027. He also promised to complete the compensation packages for displaced people in the said time period.
Mean by a picture of Chandrababu at the ground level at the Polavaram project is now going viral on social media. Babu, despite being 74 years old, braved the heat conditions and got on the ground. This picture is now being reshared extensively.
