Shortly after the Supreme Court ordered immediate halt in deforestation operations at the Hyderabad Central University premises in Kanche Gachibowli, the government of Telangana has taken a substantial decision.
Chief minister Revanth Reddy has announced that his government is forming a cabinet level committee and also incorporating other individuals to resolve the Kanche Gachibowli issue at the earliest.
According to the latest social media post from Revanth Reddy, the “Telangana Government has decided to constitute a committee with group of ministers,
to consult with –
a. Hyderabad Central University executive committee,
b. JAC and civil society groups
c. students delegation and
d. All stakeholders
To resolve and give a way forward in Kanche Gachibowli land issue.”
With BRS and BJP taking the front foot on this issue and the Supreme Court Court itself issuing a strong order and warning, the chief secretary of arrest, the Revanth Reddy government has now started to place umpteen significance on this case.
