The social media is buzzing with the reports about US President Donald Trump imposing a suspension of all tariffs for all countries except China. However, the reports resulted in the U.S. stocks witnessing sharp fluctuations. However, the White House had dismissed the rumors as “fake news.”
President Trump has been working on a lot of aspects in the trade. He already mentioned that the foreign countries will have to pay “a lot of money” to have the levies removed. The fluctuations in the stocks were improved as soon as reports of White House condemning it came online.
Meanwhile, Asian and European markets tumbled, and oil prices dropped significantly as investors grew increasingly concerned. The speculations are still growing strong but Trump may not be thinking of anything as such, as clarified by the White House.
If an official announcement comes out, it’ll give a clear picture on the entire scenario.
