Anna Konidela, the wife of AP Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, visited the Tirumala to offer her prayers and gratitude. Despite being from Italy and belonging to a different faith, she adhered to the traditional customs and rituals during her visit to the temple.
Recently, her son, Mark Shankar, was injured in a major accident in Singapore, which had left the family deeply concerned. With Mark’s recovery and safe return home, Anna Konidela decided to express her thankfulness by visiting Tirumala to offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara.
Anna initially signed a declaration in Tirupati, expressing her faith in Lord Venkateswara and her confidence in His protection. This declaration is significant as, in the past, similar declarations have been a source of controversy, especially for leaders like Jagan. Afterward, she made her way to Tirumala where she presented hair offering to the deity as a gesture of gratitude.
Jana Sena Party clarified that Anna’s visit to Tirumala was a personal expression of gratitude and that no party leaders or workers were involved in the visit as per the party’s instructions. Only a few officials accompanied her during the trip.
