Vijaya Sai Reddy is at absolute loggerheads with his former YSRCP leadership. On one hand, he is upset with Jagan for being influenced by his inner circle and sidelining him; on the other, he is venting his frustration at individuals like Raj Kasireddy and YV Vikrant Reddy, accusing them of committing several wrongdoings during Jagan’s tenure.
Sai Reddy had earlier announced his retirement from politics, stating publicly that he was leaving the YSR Congress. He claimed his political journey was over and that he intended to focus on agriculture.
However, he has continued to make occasional appearances in the political sphere. When asked about this by the media today, the senior leader responded that he could make a “re-entry” into politics whenever he wants and doesn’t need anyone’s permission to do so.
After previously stating that he had no interest in remaining active in politics, Sai Reddy now appears to be making a U-turn. He seemed quite straightforward about the possibility of returning to political life.
It’s clear that Sai Reddy will not rejoin Jagan’s side, and a move toward the BJP seems likely. Regardless, the idea of this YCP veteran re-entering politics has now become a hot topic.
On a related note, Sai Reddy also claimed that he was the one who started Sakshi Media. “I was the one who started Sakshi Media and supported it from the beginning till the end. The very same media is now calling me ‘musalodu’ and mocking my agricultural work,” he said, expressing his frustration.
