Reports: Mandakrishna Meets CBN, RS Nomination On The Way?

Later in the day yesterday, Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu arrived in Delhi and scheduled a few important meetings with cabinet ministers. He had met with union ministers, Amit Shah and Kishan Reddy in this Delhi trip. 

There is one other principal reason behind this Delhi trip as the NDA alliance is bound to finalise the candidate for the upcoming Rajya Sabha election. The seat that was vacated by Vijaya Sai Reddy is going to be filled up by the NDA candidate.

Reportedly, this point came to discussion in the meeting between Chandrababu and Amit Shah. They had an elaborate discussion about who would be the right fit for this vacant RS seat

Incidentally, this was when something interesting had happened as Mandakrishna Madiga arrived at Janpath to meet Chandrababu. The two veterans of Telugu states politics shared a cozy embrace as they caught up after a while. 

Reportedly MandaKrishna expressed his gratitude to Chandrababu over the recent SC community departmentalisation. 

Shortly after, Telugu media reports started claiming that MandaKrishna could be one of the favourites for the RS post on behalf of BJP which is likely to get ahold of this seat and field their candidate. 

Tamil Nadu BJP leader Annamalai is being seen as another prospective candidate for this AP RS seat.
