The nation of Pakistan is visibly enraged by the cancellation of Indus treaty by the Indian government. This measure effectively means that there will be no more sharing of the Indus River water with Pakistan.
This practically means that Pakistan will be losing a major share of freshwater if India persists with the cancellation of the Indus Treaty.
This has now triggered a pretty strong reaction from Pakistan and one of their former MPs, Bilawal Bhutto has a very aggressive and provocative statement in this regard.
While addressing the public in Pakistan, stated that “Indus has been attacked by India. Either the water of Indus will flow or either their[India’s] Blood”. It was evident that he is enraged by the Indian government’s decision to cancel the Indus Treaty.
The fact that a former member of Parliament from Pakistan said either Indus waters or the blood of Indians will flow in the river speaks a lot about the provocative nature of Pakistan.
While Pakistan has been largely confining its attack to verbal statements, India is exploring legal measures and strict regulations that were ultimately destabilise Pakistan and rightly so as well.
