Numbers Prove It: Babu Breaks Jagan’s Wild Allegations

There is no debating the fact that Andhra Pradesh politics and its leading political parties. Telugu Desam and YSR Congress are differentiated based on caste lines. However, in general terms, it can be stated that Telugu Desam follows this social engineering aspect a lot more than any other party.

But that does not stop Jagan from occasionally making wild allegations against Chandrababu on caste and communal lines. The narrative carried by YSR Congress and its social media groups are that TDP heavily rallies with the Kamma community and is fundamentally against the Reddy community.

However, that is not even remotely the case with the new District Cooperative Central Bank(DCCB) positions that were announced by the Chandrababu government today.

While the Andhra Pradesh government announced 10 DCCB chairmen, 5 of them happened to be from the Reddy community. 50% of the allocations have been made to Reddy community while Kammas are given 20%

  • Sivvala Suryanarayana (TDP) as Srikakulam DCCB Chairman
  • Kona Thatharao (Janasena) as Visakhapatnam DCCB Chairman
  • Kimidi Nagarjuna (TDP) as Vizianagaram DCCB Chairman
  • Makineni Mallikarjunarao (TDP) as Guntur DCCB Chairman
  • Nettem Raghuram (TDP) as Krishna DCCB Chairman
  • Dhanunjaya Reddy (TDP) as Nellore DCCB Chairman
  • Amasa Rajasekhar Reddy (TDP) as Chittoor DCCB Chairman
  • Keshava Reddy (TDP) as Anantapur DCCB Chairman
  • D. Vishnuvardhan Reddy (TDP) as Kurnool DCCB Chairman
  • B. Suryanarayana Reddy (TDP) as Kadapa DCCB Chairman

The fundamental point that must be noted here is that Jagan and his party tries to drive a narrative against Telugu Desam by painting them as a Kamma heavy party. But if we look at the clear numbers that are on display here, we get a clear view.

It can be noted that every single nominated positions right from municipality level to state administration level where allocated to the Reddy community under Jagan’s regime. This was overwhelmingly evident during Jagan’s time as the chief minister.

But the numbers in front of us, including the one today regarding DCCB allocation shows which party is clearly unilateral and which party is liberal. While YCP was entirely centred around supporting the Reddy community, TDP is following a social practice and a sense of merit based administrative structures.
