TDP Honors Chandraiah: Son Gets Govt Job

The previous YCP government followed every vindictive and assertive policy of administration in the five years between 2019-24. Almost the entirety of the TDP cadre was put under severe distress during this period. While the majority of the cadre could withstand this extreme pressure, certain cadets faced lethal consequences.

One such hard-core TDP activist, who faced the legal consequences of the previous Jagan government was Thota Chandraiah from Macherla.

Chandraiah was a hard-core TDP supporter by nature, and he was subsequently targeted by the YCP cadres locally. There was this one infamous incident in 2022 when Chandraiah was reportedly cornered by YCP supporters who demanded him to leave TDP and join YCP.

However, Chandraiah had a strong TDP DNA in him and he rejected all of YCP’s advancements. This triggered the YCP local leadership and Chandraiah was brutally hacked to death on the road back in 2022. This incident shakes up even Chandrababu and he himself went to the village to partake in the final rites of Chandraiah.

Now, three years after this incident, Chandraiah’s family has finally received justice as his son was provided with a government job by the NDA government.

This is now being seen as a strong signal of strength and support from the TDP leadership towards its cadres. The fact that Chandraiah’s son has been fairly rewarded for his father’s sacrifice is now being appreciated by the TDP cadres.
