What a Comeback! Assaulted by YCP, Honored by TDP!

YSR Congress activists followed a lawless precedent during the five years of the Jagan regime. This was evident multiple times throughout the period, particularly in the case of a few TDP supporters who went on a cycling campaign from Srikakulam to Kuppam in protest of Chandrababu’s arrest.

However, this peaceful and honest cycle protest by common TDP supporters was obstructed by local YCP leaders. A few men who claimed to be associated with Peddireddy attacked and assaulted these TDP supporters, despite their peaceful mission. This became one of the most infamous and distasteful attacks of 2023 and drew public outrage.

Now, in what could be seen as a cinematic turnaround, the very same TDP supporters who were assaulted by YCP leaders in Punganur have been honoured by the TDP.

These five TDP supporters, who were assaulted by YCP leader Challa Ramachandra Reddy, were honoured in a grand manner by the TDP and will be formally welcomed at the upcoming Mahanadu in Kadapa.

From being brutally and mercilessly attacked during the YCP regime, the fighting spirit of these hardworking cadres is now being rewarded by the TDP with this thoughtful gesture.

It is the heroic efforts of such cadres that set the TDP apart from the rest. This is the kind of fighting spirit that has historically formed the backbone of the party.
