More Cases More Preference: YCP’s Shocking Offer

After the disastrous misrule of YS Jagan between 2019 and 2024, during which several YCP leaders went to extremes to torment TDP workers, the tables have now turned. These YCP members are finally facing legal consequences for their actions.

Many YCP leaders who were involved in antisocial activities and harassed the public are now under legal scrutiny. Surprisingly, this does not seem to be a cause for concern for the YCP leadership. In fact, they appear to be more energized by it.

This sentiment is evident from a recent public statement made by Jagan’s own maternal uncle Ravindranath Reddy. He openly stated that YCP will give preference to leaders who have the most police cases filed against them.

“We are coming back to power very soon. The Jamili elections are around the corner and Jagan Mohan Reddy will become the Chief Minister again. Once that happens, we will start the Rappa Rappa rule in Andhra Pradesh and every NDA worker will be dealt with. There will be little consequence,” Ravindranath Reddy said.

He went on to add, “Do not be afraid of these police cases. Our party will value and support those who have the most number of cases. The higher the number of cases, the greater the preference in YSR Congress. This is going to be our motto.”

The fact that Jagan’s own uncle, a man considered very close to him, is encouraging party leaders to engage in criminal activities and accumulate cases to gain preference in the party is being widely criticized. One amused social media user even remarked that this reflects the feudalistic mindset of the Jagan-led party.
