Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today launched a grand economic vision for Andhra Pradesh, titled ‘Towards Swarna Andhra Pradesh@2047’, in New Delhi. This plan aims to transform the state into India’s best by the year 2047. Prepared by a task force in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the report lays out a roadmap to reach global standards.
Naidu made a powerful pitch to investors, saying, “When you invest in AP, your project becomes our project.” He assured full government support and promised to turn Andhra into a hub of innovation, infrastructure, and opportunity.
The report highlights goals like increasing the state’s economy from $180 billion to $2.4 trillion, raising per capita income to $42,000, and becoming a major export powerhouse. Plans include ports every 50 km along the coast, world-class airports, and a strong digital backbone.
Naidu also spoke about introducing Quantum Computing by 2026 and launching real-time online governance through WhatsApp by August 15. “Technology and transparency will drive us forward,” he said.
He also stressed tourism, skill development, AI-driven health systems, and innovation hubs in cities like Visakhapatnam, Amaravati, and Tirupati.
Calling on the business community to partner in Andhra’s growth story, Naidu concluded with a message of confidence: “Trust us, we will deliver. Give us a problem, we’ll solve it.”
