BJP MP from Jharkhand, Nishikant Dubey has made several bold political remarks in a recent interview. He strongly praised PM Narendra Modi and said that the BJP cannot survive without him. “For the next 15 to 20 years, I only see Modi leading. Without him, BJP won’t even win 150 seats,” Dubey stated.
When asked about the comment that “Delhi is not vacant yet”, apparently aimed at Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Dubey said there is no question of leadership change in Delhi. “2029 elections too will be fought under Modi’s leadership,” he said confidently.
On RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s idea that leaders should retire at 75, Dubey disagreed. “Modi may not need the party, but the party definitely needs him. Whether we like it or not, political parties run on strong personalities,” he explained.
He also brushed aside any issues regarding the delay in appointing a new BJP national president, saying, “There were many complications.”
