Emotional Exit: Raju Garu Bids Goodbye to TDP After 43 Years

One of the senior, most members of the Telugu Desam party and a man who stuck with the yellow brigade through thick and thin, Ashok Gajapati Raju has quit Telugu Desam party after nearly 50 years.

Raju Garu, first won as an MLA back in 1978. He later moved to Telugu Desam party in 1982, when senior NTR announced the inception of the yellow brigade. Since then, he has been an active member of the Telugu Desam party.

Finally, after 43 years, Raju Garu left the yellow brigade as he submitted his resignation to TDP membership, and politburo membership last evening. Please submitted the same to the national president, Chandrababu and regional president, Palla Srinivasa Rao.

This is due to the fact that Gajapati Raju got promoted as the governor of Goa recently, and he upheld his dignity by resigning party level position to hold this new constitutional position, henceforth.

With this, his 43 years association with the Telugu Desam party comes to an end. But at the end of the day, he will continue to be a TDP loyalist forever and might be available whenever needed.
