Thammullu Crossing The Line, Babu Must Make Note!

The thing with regional parties is that whenever any active member of the party cross the line, the plane ultimately falls on the chief of the party. The same happened recently when YCP cadre created a notorious campaign in the name of “Rappa Rappa” which brought public criticism on Jagan. But strangely Jagan himself joined this campaign, and that is a different story altogether.

And now something problematic is happening with the Telugu Desam party, and it has something to do with first time MLA Gali Bhanu who is son of late TDP legend Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu.

After having won from Nagari in the recent election, Bhanu has been active against YCP’s Roja here. However, in an attempt to vocally reprimand Roja, it needs to be said that Bhanu crossed the line a couple of days ago. He publicly said Raja has the history of doing anything for Rs 2000. The implication was very vulgar here. He also compared her with vamp characters.

What next? Raja is now trying to make the most of the situation as she has approached the High Court and also the woman commission. On top of that YCP is also asking TDP to react the same way they did YCP’s Prasanna Kumar Reddy abused Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy recently. Ironically, they do have a point to make here.

It is a fact that Roja has been a serial abusive of Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan and had crossed the line several times in the past. Her reputation might precede her on this front. This might have warranted Bhanu to make that comment. But the point to be noted is that TDP has a strong line when it comes to abuses against women, regardless of their reputation or history.

Chandrababu himself is actively advocating against abuses on women, and he might not react, kindly to this latest public incident involving Bhanu and Roja. This matter might warrant some reprimanding action from Chandrababu and need be so as well. Alas, everyone saw how YCP’s public abuses on women until 2024 gave them pitiful consequences in the election.
