Following the recent arrest of MP Mithun Reddy in connection with the liquor scam, the Peddireddy family has made some notable adjustments. Mithun Reddy is currently in judicial custody at the Rajahmundry Central Jail, where he is being allowed certain facilities, including home-cooked meals, as permitted by the court.
In light of this, key members of the Peddireddy family are reportedly relocating to Rajahmundry for the time being. According to sources, his father, Ramachandra Reddy, has arranged a villa near the Central Jail to ensure proper support and meal arrangements for Mithun.
Additionally, several other relatives from the Chittoor district have also moved to Rajahmundry. They are said to have taken up apartments and flats in the area to stay close during this period.
Interestingly, political observers are drawing comparisons between the current situation and the time when Nara Lokesh and Bhuvaneshwari had set up a temporary stay near Rajahmundry Central Jail during Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest. At that time, the incident drew attention and commentary across political circles. Now, with roles reversed, some are noting the irony in how situations change with time.
