BRS leader and former minister KTR is facing backlash after making sharp comments about government officials in a recent speech. In a video going viral online, KTR is seen warning officials with the words “Collector gaani, vaani Ayya gaani,” meaning he doesn’t care if someone is a collector or not, they should behave properly.
While his words might have excited his party supporters, many people outside the party felt uncomfortable with the tone.
Political Analysts say that these remarks sound more like a threat and can create unnecessary pressure on IAS officers and other public servants. Some have questioned why a senior leader like KTR, who served as a minister for 10 years and ran the government successfully, is now using such aggressive language just because his party lost the election.
This kind of talk might energize the party base, but it does not sit well with the general public. People expect experienced leaders to show maturity and maintain respect for those working in public service. Similar patterns of speech have been seen in Andhra Pradesh too, where former CM Jagan was also known for making strong comments against officials.
