Former YSR Congress MP Vijay Sai Reddy says he is no longer active in politics after having quit Jagan’s party. However, the wrongdoings in the previous Jagan tenure are still continuing to haunt Sai Reddy, and those near him as the kind of antisocial activities that had happened.
Incidentally, Sai Reddy’s daughter Neha Reddy has been instructed by the High Court committee to pay Rs 17.46 crore fine in connection with the Bhimili Beach encroachment case.
This dates back to the series of events that happened in 2021, while Jagan was the chief minister. Sai Reddy was a crucial player in YCP back then and his daughter Neha Reddy did something against the law by breaching the encroachment and building enclosures share.
This is a restricted piece of land, which can have no private property, but such where the atrocities done by the previous YCP individuals. Neha Reddy tried to build a private building in the area and even laid the foundation for the same.
Upon complaints from the authorities, the High Court took up the case and the investigation has found out that illegal construction activities have been happening here since 1 August 2021.
Now that there is concrete proof that Neha Reddy had carried out construction in restricted areas, she is now facing penalty of ₹1.2 lakh per day starting from August 1. So for a total of 1455 days, she is now being find ₹17.46 crore.
This came shortly after the central committee had established that illegal construction had happened in 16.9 m² of restricted property that is designated for Bhimili conservation. It was further instructed that the entire building area must be cleared, including the foundation stones, and sand must be relaid here.
If the construction dismantling and find remittance does not happen in three months then the penalty could be doubled. It has to be seen how the Sai Reddy family would react to the situation now.
