One of the special privileges given to public representatives like MLAs and MPs is the special Darshan package at the holy Tirumala Temple. However, this privilege is intended to be used in moderation so that public darshan is not affected.
When it comes to YSR Congress firebrand Roja, who happens to be an ex-minister and ex-MLA, there have been several complaints about her repeated visits to the Tirumala Temple. She reportedly visits the temple almost every month and is frequently seen around the premises.
There have been complaints that Roja has been exploiting her privilege as a public representative with these frequent visits. While visiting the temple occasionally is not an issue, overdoing it and using the privilege so often has led to negative feedback.
Several social media posts have criticized Roja on this matter, but she appears unfazed and continues her tradition of frequent temple visits.
Many believe Roja should slow down and instead use her privilege to help a few other common devotees get the special Darshan. However, it seems the former minister prefers to keep the benefit for herself.
