Yesterday, a leaked clipping of a highly controversial telephonic conversation allegedly involving TDP Anantapur MLA Daggupati Venkateswara Prasad went viral on social media. In this clipping, the TDP MLA verbally abused Jr NTR and made seriously regressive comments on the actor.
Shortly after the MLA clarified that he has nothing to do with the clipping and stated that it’s a fake clipping.
However, the matter has reached chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, and he had a pretty strong reaction on this matter and understandably so as well.
Babu reportedly got furious with the incident and reprimanded the MLA over the same. Babu report, Reddy immediately clear that he will never tolerate group politics or derogatory internal remarks from his party MLAs.
Apparently, he warned the MLA not to repeat such incidents in the future and took serious note of the incident which led to several discussions since this morning.
The issue gained significance after the clipping went viral and NTR’s fans protested outside the MLAs house, despite the subsequent clarification from the MLA. But nevertheless, it is good to note that CM Chandrababu himself took note of this matter and reprimanded the MLA.
The ongoing topic of discussion about NTR and TDP has been a sensitive issue for a long time. So any sort of public outbreak on this matter is only going to intensify it further which is exactly is to be avoided.
