All of India celebrated the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan recently. In accordance the top leadership of Andhra Pradesh government, including Chandrababu received a lot of warmth from the female population who turned up in big numbers to tie Rakhi.
However, certain media forces that are active in Andhra Pradesh politics have now started to carry a false narrative against ChandraBabu using the sensitive Raksha Bandhan festival.
Incidentally, there was this one particular report from media house which read that CM Chandrababu was tied a Rakhi that cost in the range of ₹1 crore. It was reported that TDP MLA Prashanthi Reddy had tied this Rakhi to Babu on the occasion of Rakhi recently.
This media report shockingly said this Rakhi had a diamond interluded with it and costs over Rs 1 crore. The whole packaging of this report was made to look like Babu got the costliest Rakhi on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan this year.
But it turns out that this was nothing, but a fake and fabricated report just to dehumanise the otherwise Rakhi occasion. Reportedly, Prashanthi Reddy just bought a normal Rakhi for chief minister Babu and there’s no truth in this “₹1 Cr diamond Rakhi” narrative that’s being carried on social media.
This is again another reflection of the fake narratives that are often being set in AP politics to spill venom on the NDA government. It has become increasingly important for the government to actively counter these false stories that are being run by obvious opponents.
