Can Vijay Turn This Huge Crowd Into Votes?

Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay is preparing the ground for his political future through his party, TVK. As part of this, he held a mega political event in Madurai today under the banner of TVK Maanaadu, which witnessed a massive turnout.

People from across Tamil Nadu flocked to the event in huge numbers, making it one of the biggest political gatherings for any leader in the state in recent years.

As expected, Vijay was theatrical and loud in his speech, entertaining the crowds with his trademark statements and cinema-style dialogues.

At one point, Vijay even turned emotional after witnessing the sheer size of the gathering. He appeared to be deeply moved and impressed with the turnout at the Madurai Maanaadu.

The real challenge, however, lies in converting these crowds into actual votes. We will know if Vijay succeeds in doing so only after the highly anticipated 2026 Tamil Nadu assembly elections.

Historically, even leaders like Pawan Kalyan had relatively weak starts in their initial election campaigns but grew stronger with time. It remains to be seen what kind of beginning Vijay will have in his political career, whether he can secure strong numbers right away or if he will have to build momentum gradually.
