Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is showing that he is cut from a very different cloth compared to his predecessor. While former CM KCR often stayed away from day-to-day activity, citing age and health factors, the new and younger CM is proving to be a hands-on leader who prefers to stay on the job every single day of the year.
Even during festivals, Revanth Reddy is choosing work over rest. On Vinayaka Chaturthi night, while families across Telangana were celebrating with joy, the chief minister was busy at his residence holding a high-level review meeting. He discussed the Musi river rejuvenation project, reviewed the heavy rainfall situation, and directed officials to stay fully prepared to deal with the flooding in several parts of the state.
What stands out is not just his instructions but his willingness to personally sit down with officials and track the progress himself. This has created an impression of a leader who leads from the front rather than just issuing orders from above. His proactive approach is sending a strong message to the administration that there are no holidays when it comes to governance, and that accountability starts at the very top.
Revanth’s energy and constant involvement are already setting a new tone for governance in Telangana. For the bureaucrats and officers working under him, it is both a motivating factor and a reminder that the chief minister expects dedication every day of the year
