Sudershan Reddy Seeks Jagan’s Support, What Did He Say?

On one hand, Jagan breathed fire against Chandrababu and the incumbent NDA government in Andhra Pradesh. But on the other hand, the very same Jagan supports NDA on every given occasion at the central level. This continued in the case of the upcoming vice president election as well.

While the opposition INDIA bloc fielded Telugu candidate Sudarshan Reddy who also happens to hail from Jagan’s community, the YCP boss still went ahead with the NDA candidate. Incidentally, the two of them had a telephonic conversation while Sudarshan Reddy appealed to Jagan to support him in the VP Polls.

According to YCP, Supreme Court Justice Sudershan Reddy, contesting for the Vice-Presidential post on behalf of the INDIA Alliance, spoke with former CM YS Jagan over the phone on Sunday. On this occasion, he requested support for the Vice-Presidential election.

Responding to this, YS Jagan recalled that the NDA had approached him to support their candidate even before the INDIA Alliance announced its candidate. He revealed that he had already given his word to support them accordingly. He stated that he has immense personal respect for Justice Sudarshan Reddy and that his services are essential for the nation.

Jagan evidently turned down the proposal made by INDIA Alliance candidate Sudershan Reddy. Let us again a reflection of the fact that Jagan has his loyalty with the NDA at the central level.
