It is already known the one of the most controversial cases in Andhra Pradesh politics happens to be that of Sugali Preethi’s. After the original incident in 2017, the previous Jagan government had assigned the case to the CBI.
However, there was no progress with regard to the CBI investigation in this case, as it was reported that adequate proofs and acquaintance were not established in the case.
Subsequently, there was a huge uproar in this matter last week after Preeti’s mother accused deputy chief minister, Pawan Kalyan, of misusing this case for his political gains. Despite the fact that this case originally gained prominence only due to the protest held by Kalyan, she made some wild comments of the JSP chief.
On that note, we have something interesting coming up as the Andhra Pradesh government has handed over this controversial case to the Central bureau of investigation again.
This case was handed over to the CBI for further investigation, and the same is confirmed through media communication. This is the second time that Sugali Preeti case is going for CBI investigation and the expectation is that there would be substantial progress this time.
On that note, it must also be noted that Pawan Kalyan had already notified Andhra Pradesh DGP and the CID chief to speed up the investigation on this matter. It has to be seen what sort of result this new CBI investigation would be having henceforth.
