AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is coming up with unique welfare ideas. After launching several schemes for the poor and rolling out his “Super Six” promises, he has now announced a rather unusual but interesting plan, building hostels for cattle in towns.
Speaking at a public meeting in Palnadu, Chandrababu explained that just like hostels were set up for children, the elderly, and orphans, the government will now create proper shelters for cattle. These facilities will include sheds, fodder, drinking water, and other basic amenities.
Chandrababu said the idea came from the challenges faced in urban areas where families keep one or two cows but are unable to take proper care of them. Such animals often end up roaming on busy streets, causing inconvenience to people and risking their own safety. With designated hostels, both urban cleanliness and cattle protection can be ensured.
The announcement was met with cheers from the crowd, with many appreciating the innovative approach. Chandrababu also mentioned that each town will first be surveyed to estimate the number of cattle and hostels will be built accordingly.
This new initiative adds to Chandrababu’s image of blending welfare with practical governance, showing that his vision extends beyond people-centric schemes to even the care of animals in society.
