H-1B Fiasco: Rahul Gandhi Says India Has Weak PM!

The President of United States, Donald Trump delivered deadly news to the Indian working population in the United States earlier in the day today. He signed an executive order that hikes the H-1B visa fee to $100k annually which would hit the H-1B workforce substantially. 

While this order is going to come to effect from September 21, there is a lot of panic amongst the Indian working population in the U.S.  

In this context, the opposition leader of India Rahul Gandhi aimed the barrel at Prime Minister Modi as he appeared to blame the latter for the prevailing situation. 

Sharing a snippet of a new article regarding the new H1B regulation brought by Donald Trump, Rahul Gandhi tweeted “I repeat, India has a weak PM.”

This is a continuation tweet from Rahul Gandhi while the original tweet is back in 2017, when Rahul had highlighted that Modi did not discuss H1B policies with Trump back then which wasn’t in the good interests of India. And now, Rahul has again targeted Modi with this new satirical post. 

There are comments that the President of the United States is looking to make life living hell to Indians and the recent tariff impositions is also an attempt in this process. But the latest executive order regarding the H1B visa can be considered as a giant killer that would severely affect Indians who hold 71% of the total H-1B visas in the U.S.
