One of the iconic police officers in the state of Telangana is VC Sajjanar. His name burst out after the hugely debated encounter of the culprits in the Disha rape and murder case.
He continues his legacy as the RTC MD and further imposed a strong movement against online betting culture as he played a big role in educating against this harmful culture.
The latest news is that VC Sajjanar is back on mainstream policing duties as he has been appointed as the police commissioner of Hyderabad. This is going to be an upgrade from his earlier position as Cyberabad commissioner prior to 2021.
The latest appointment of Sajjanar as Hyderabad commissioner could bring about crucial changes in the polling process as well. The current commissioner CV Anand has been appointed as CS in the Home Department.
