The latest news is that VC Sajjanar is back on mainstream policing duties as he has been appointed as the police commissioner of Hyderabad. This is going to be an upgrade from his earlier position as Cyberabad commissioner prior to 2021.
The latest appointment of Sajjanar as Hyderabad commissioner could bring about crucial changes in the polling process as well. The current commissioner CV Anand has been appointed as CS in the Home Department.
