No Permission For Jagan Anakapalle Tour: What’s Up?

It has become an extremely rare sight to catch YS Jagan out in the public. He has been confining his weekly visits to Andhra Pradesh, almost entirely to meeting selected YCP cadres and occasional visits to jail to meet jailed YCP leaders.

For a change, Jagan tried to orchestrate a public event in Anakapalle to visit the government medical college here. However, this program is in jeopardy now as the police department has raised certain concerns about the same.

Had planned to go on a roadshow from Vizag to Makavarapalem as a show of strength. However, the police department has rejected the permission for this roadshow and instead advised Jagan to take a helicopter ride to the venue.

There is a valid reason behind this decision by the police department as they have cited the recent Karur stampede incident involving Thalapathy Vijay. In order to avoid another such incident, the police department advised Jagan to avoid roadshow, which would prove dangerous to everyone.

Even earlier, Jagan roadshows had ended in disaster as a couple of people died during his Sattenapalli visit. In order to avoid such fertilities, the police department has rejected the permission for Jagan’s road tour. It has to be seen how YCP would react to this instruction while Jagan had already intimated his party workers to make grand arrangements for this tour on October 9.
