During the previous YSR Congress regime in Andhra Pradesh, several TDP workers faced difficult situations, with reports of political pressure and alleged bias from certain officials. Among those names, police officer Shaikh Feroz, who served in Narsaraopeta, often came up in political discussions.
Feroz had earlier faced allegations from local TDP leaders, who accused him of acting unfairly during his tenure. There were also claims related to voter list issues in the Parchur area, which led TDP leader Eluri Sambasiva Rao to approach the court. Following this, Feroz was reportedly suspended at that time.
However, in a recent development, the officer has now been appointed as the CI of Narsaraopeta 1 Town Police Station. This decision has surprised some sections within the TDP, as they expected disciplinary review or action after the change of government.
For now, the appointment has become a topic of discussion in local political circles, with many watching to see how things unfold in the coming days.
