As we had reported earlier, the deputy chief minister’s office had received complaints about illegal gambling operations in certain parts of Bhimavaram and the involvement of local DSP in the same. Making note of the same, DCM Pawan Kalyan had called for a detailed investigative report from the Bhimavaram SP on this matter.
While there has been a lot of discussion happening on this issue, Deputy speaker, Raghu Rama Krishna Raju had certified Bhimavaram DSP yesterday and said he is a very credible officer. Incidentally, YCP leaders looked to make an issue out of it, by saying TDP’s RRR is contradicting PK by certifying the Bhimavaram DSP.
There was this desperate attempted by YCP to make a meal out of RRR’s statement yesterday which had no contradiction with DCM Kalyan’s call for an investigative report.
Nevertheless, RRR took to the media to clarify on this matter as he gunned down the desperate attempt from YCP leaders to find cracks in NDA alliance.
“It is well within the limits and jurisdiction of the deputy chief minister to call for a report from the SP. I’m completely sure that Kalyan garu is reacting to the complaints that he got. My remarks on the DSP were entirely based on his merit. I never conducted with the deputy chief minister.” RRR clarified on this matter.
Of late, YCP has been looking to make an issue out of virtually every matter involving the NDA alliance and they’ve now looked to do the same with Pawan Kalyan and RRR. But considering the reactive nature of RRR, he was going to react on this matter as he took down YCP’s attempts.
