The internal rift in the TDP ecosystem in Krishna district involving Kolikapudi Srinivas and Kesineni Chinni has reached chief minister Chandrababu. It has now saturated to a point where the chief minister is set to take strict action in this regard.
Initially, the war of words between Srinivas and Chinni was confined to verbal confrontation. However, this Saga has hit its saturation point after Srinivas shared a WhatsApp status alleging that Chinni took money from him for Thiruvur MLA ticket.
While this confrontational episode was getting worse by the day, TDP president Palla Srinivasa Rao initiated reprimanding measures and was supposed to meet these two leaders on Friday. However, this meeting has been called off after chief minister Chandrababu himself got involved.
According to reports, Chandrababu advised Srinivasa Rao, not to go ahead with the meeting and instructed that he himself would be taking matters into own hands. Reportedly, he will be acting upon it once he is back from his UAE trip, which should be in a day or two.
Once Chandrababu is back, there could be some pretty severe consequences regarding this internal fight between the two TDP seniors. Particularly Srinivas had been irking the TDP leadership with repeated hassles and Chandra Babu had reprimanded him already and advised caution but that didn’t change the situation much. So, he could come under Babu’s radar now.
And now that the chief minister has decided to take matters into own hands, there could be severe consequences for everyone involved.
