BJP Woos Janasena Voters With Pawan’s Sanatani Image

Janasena president, Pawan Kalyan has always been a trusted associate for the BJP in South India. But he took it to a whole new league altogether after he started on this Sanatan Dharma notion as he quickly emerged as the face of this movement for the NDA in South India.

It has now reached a point where Kalyan is being seen as a representative of this Sanatan Dharma movement and his popularity is being cleverly used by the BJP whenever needed. 

This is to be understood if we look at the latest public statement issued by Telangana BJP firebrand Bandi Sanjay, who campaigned for party candidate Deepak Reddy in Jubilee Hills last night. 

During the campaign, Sanjay brought up the reference of Pawan Kalyan and said he is a dear member of the NDA alliance. “Pawan Kalyan is a strong representative of Sanatan Dharma and he is very close to us. I am confident that all of Pawan Kalyan fans, and Janasena supporters will stand with BJP and fight for our victory, Jubilee Hills.” 

Considering the increasing popularity of Pawan Kalyan and his Sanatan Dharma movement, BJP appears to be trying to woo the section of voters who side with Kalyan. They are looking to extract every bit of popularity of Pawan Kalyan not just in Andhra but also in Hyderabad.
