The much-anticipated AR Rahman Live In Concert in Hyderabad was held last night at the Ramoji Film City, amidst the presence of thousands of fans. Rahman made this night special by performing some of his hit numbers over the decades. But what made the event more special was the presence of Peddi’s team at the event.
Peddi’s lead actor Ram Charan, lead actress Janhvi Kapoor and director Buchi Babu Sana were at the live-in concert last night to promote their film’s new song, “Chikiri”. Already, Chikiri has been making waves on social media since its release and through this solid promotional strategy, the makers further intensified the buzz around the song and the film as well.
Ram Charan made an electrifying entry at the concert while the “Massa Massa” BGM played in the background. He said that it has been his childhood dream to work with Rahman, and the dream is being fulfilled with Peddi. Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor stated that working with Rahman was a memorable moment in her career.
“Chikiri” was also performed live on stage, drawing thunderous response from the audience. Bringing Charan and Janhvi to the concert further intensified the buzz around the song and made it a trending topic on social media yet again. On YouTube, Chikiri has become the most-watched Indian song in 24 hours of its release and also topped the Global Charts at second position.
Touted to be a rural sports drama, Peddi is slated for worldwide release on March 27, 2026.
