Revanth Compares KTR’s Campaign With Sreeleela’s Item Song

Two of the biggest names in Telangana politics, Revanth Reddy, and KTR are having a go at each other in the context of the upcoming Jubilee Hills by election. These two vocally aggressive leaders are not backing down when it comes to passing rhetorical statements on each other. 

This has now reached a point where chief minister Revanth Reddy has compared KTR’s election campaign in Jubilee Hills to Sree Leela’s item song from Pushpa 2.

“Generally, we see item songs in films to entertain the audience and uplift the mood. They offer only visual entertainment without any contextual or novel value. It appears that KTR is also doing a similar gimmick in Jubilee Hills. 

He is going around waving his party kanduva and dancing on roads. Would anyone projecting themselves as Telangana leaders do such silly and brainless things? Whenever I see his campaign, this Sree Leela item song comes to mind.” Revanth said as he addressed the media today. 

It must be noted that KTR had been occasionally doing these energetic hand wave dance moves to energise BRS cadres. But this has now been sarcastically used by the CM to puncture the morale of BRA troopers by comparing KTR’s campaign to an item song.
