It is already known that Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu has the reputation of being a progressive and visionary chief minister. Now it appears that IT minister Lokesh is also learning a lot from his father as he has been taking several revolutionary measures to attract investments to Andhra Pradesh.
Coming to the topic now, Lokesh has revealed a very interesting bit of information as he spoke about how the Andhra Pradesh government is using WhatsApp groups to secure investments.
During his meeting with business executives at a foreign summit, Lokesh stated that any company that wishes to invest in Andhra Pradesh will be actively supported by the government. He further revealed that investment projects that exceed a certain threshold budgeting will be further prioritised and a dedicated WhatsApp group will be created for them.
Lokesh revealed that every real time update on that particular investment will be availed on this WhatsApp group so that there is active tracking 24X7.
The minister pointed out that he himself is a part of 30 WhatsApp groups that are related to investments, and this shows his commitment towards “Speed of doing business.” Back in the day, there wasn’t proper tracking system for investment timelines, but now Lokesh has demonstrated that even can serve as a tracking medium.
